Is the Razorback a hovercraft?

It is very similar, but the Razorback is not a true hovercraft.
The Razorback has some of the technology that a hovercraft is based on, but in order to achieve the high speeds that it can,
we had to do away with the skirt that a hovercraft normally has.
A skirt is usually a covering on the bottom made up of a fabric or rubber material which helps control the flow of air.
This is what allows a hovercraft to glide over most flat surfaces including water.
The Razorback uses a sturdy Polyethylene foam bottom which makes it nearly
indestructible and allows for much faster movement.

Does the Razorback run over water?

Yes, it can run on water, but it needs some modifications to do this. The electronics MUST be waterproofed, inside balloons.
The center of gravity needs to be moved back, so that weight is
in the back as opposed to the front of the craft.
Two 800mah lipos should be run in parallel and positioned on either side of the lift fan. While it is possible to run
this on water, the warranty does not cover water damage of the electronics!

What kind of kits do you offer and how much will they cost?

You can currently order the Receiver Ready or Ready To Run packages.

What is Receiver Ready?

Receiver Ready is a kit that comes with everything except a radio transmitter and
battery needed to start racing the Razorback.
This is for someone who may already have their own car or air r/c radio
or that prefer to buy their own.  We also sell 2.4 ghz radios on our website.

What is RTR?

RTR = Ready To Run.  Meaning, the kit has everything you need to start racing your anti-grav Razorback right out of the box.
Items included in this kit are the Razorback racer itself, a Lexan body cover, 3 channel 2.4ghz surface radio , dual brushless motors,
1600mah 20c Lipo battery pack, and battery charger.

Is there more than one color to the craft body?

The Lexan body cover will come in white, black, blue, red, silver or unpainted (you can spraypaint your own scheme).

Do you offer any accessories or parts besides the kits?

Of course! We will have more powerful motors, longer lasting batteries, spare fan blades,
LED light kits, and others when our website is fully operational.

What kind of run time can I see on a full charge of the battery pack?

Using the stock motors a 1300mah battery will get you around 5 - 8 minutes of runtime,
1800 mah pack 8 - 12 minutes, and 2200 mah pack 10 - 15 minutes.
Runtimes can be longer, even up to 30 minutes if going slow.It just depends how often you accelerate and stay at top speed. If you have an upgraded motor, you will require one of the higher capacity battery packs. It is not recommended to run your battery down
to low voltage, with Lithium Polymer(Lipo) batteries, this could
damage the cells in the battery and possibly "puff" the pack which would make it unusable.
It also is not recommended to use a lower capacity battery with the more
powerful motor as damage could occur to the battery pack and/or motor.

Is the "skid" replaceable?

After 100 - 300 uses, you will notice the skid (the foam piece on the bottom) starting to wear down.
You will want to replace that before the hover motor starts to brush against the ground.
We will offer these replacements on our website.
